Richard Mille, F.P. Journe, and Jean Todt are just three of the famous watchmakers that gathered on the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie of Geneva 2008 but all of them are shadowed by Vacheron Constantin who won the award for Men’s Watch category with their Quai de l’Ile watch.
This Quai de l’Ile watch by Vacheron Constantin is definitely a ground breaking achievement for ever watchmaker. This watch is in some ways can be personalized because the owner will be choosing the movement among the two self winding mechanical movements available. This watch is also equipped with security printing technologies like the one that you would see on a passport.

Aside from these technical features, this watch is created with a transparent dial exposing the beauty of the self winding movement.  The watch also has three transparent sub dials which have functions of date and day indicator, and seconds counter. All of these functions and features are packed together in a luxurious gold case and leather strap.
