You will freak out when you realize that this watch from Ulysse Nardin is a limited production. The Ulysse Nardin Freak Black watch was made for the “Only Watch 2009” charity auction in Monaco this September.
The Ulysse Nardin Freak Black watch may have been inspired by the Freak Watches but it now comes in mostly black, especially all over the dial. The Freak may have been named as such, because it is one of the most innovative watches ever designed in the past 100 years.
The tips of the hands, which are grotesquely shaped not like the normal watch hand at all, are however in red Superluminova, so you can easily see the time even when it’s dark.
You will know how special this watch is by looking at the engraved words just below the watch face, which says “OnlyWatch” The watch is made of 18K white gold case and an alligator strap with an 18K white gold clasp.
The watch is powered by a 7-day Carrousel-Tourbillon movement with functions for hours and minutes. It brags about the exclusive Dual Ulysse Escapement in Silicium, but you will be amazed at the dial, which is shaped much like the wheels of the industries.
For the charity event, Ulysse Nardin has produced a unique Freak version named as the Freak Black Out.
