This watch brand is as sleek-looking as it sounds. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Memovox watch will make a comeback in 2010 and those who are familiar with the Memovox watch will find that exciting.
The watch gets inspiration from the original Memovox watch which is known for being the first wrist watch that comes with an alarm function and an automatic movement. The Memovox, which was powered by a Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 489 movement, was first released in the market in 1950 and was produced until 1968.
Since that time, the Memovox has become like the dinosaurs—extinct. However, the brand is set to release the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Memovox watch next year and it will be powered by a Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 956 movement with a 45 hour power reserve.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Memovox watch comes in a stainless steel or rose gold case measuring 40 mm in diameter. It comes with a silver dial with gold Arabic numerals at 6. 9 and 12 o’clock. There is a date display window at 3 o’clock.
