OMEGA WATCHES
Omega watches are manufactured by a renowned watchmaker by the name of Biel/Bienne from Switzerland. They were the preferred watches for NASA and the first watches on the moon in the year 1969. Since then they have many accomplishments credited to their quality standards, durability and functionality. They have been the official time pieces for the Olympic Games, have adorned the wrists of James Bond since 1995 in all his films, and have also been worn by famous personalities like John F. Kennedy, Prince William, etc. An Omega spells style and class even today.
The Omega watch is owned by the Swatch group. As far as varieties of watches are concerned, there is the Omega Seamaster, which is an automatic winding chronometer and quartz watch produced by Omega in 1947. Endowed with a stainless steel case and a bracelet (Bond style with Omega symbol clasp), is engraved with an Omega hippocampus logo and is up to 1200m water resistant. The models of Omega Seamaster that are available are Seamaster 300m Quartz, Seamaster 300m Chrono Diver, Seamaster 300m GMT, etc. With its phosphorescence hands, unidirectional bezel, blue/silver/black dial with orange accents, it is apt to make a statement in the world. This is an apt model for Omega men’s watch.
An Omega is also considered a sports watch. Its association with the 1932 Summer Olympics has made it the official timekeeper for the Olympics. Not only that, it also designs Omega ladies watches. It was perceived that Omega is predominantly a male brand, but that notion has been done away with thanks to the Constellation Brushed Chronometer. This model has a chronometer, shows the date and has a transparent case back. With a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal and anti reflective treatment on both sides, it creates a fabulous style statement. Its steel red gold case is water resistant and it can be moved with self winding movement.

The Name Is Submariner, Rolex Submariner…
It’s safe to say that the fictional character James Bond is one of the most important role models of our time. Women want to be with him, men want to be like him – and not just because he is an international man of mystery. Since the beginning of his “Carrier” he has sported the most elegant, innovative, high-quality gadgets, one of the most important ones – his watch.
In the original books, Bond creator Ian Fleming wrote “[Bond] could not just wear a watch. It had to be a Rolex.” So it’s no wonder the Rolex “Pre-Daytona” chronograph worn by George Lazenby in the 1969 Bond flick “On Her Majesty’s…
