November 18, 2010, State of Geneva – The Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix (GPHG) celebrated its 10th anniversary in giving honor to watchmakers who lived by their creativity, dynamism and skills within the watch industry.

The Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix or Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève started back in year 2001 and since then, it annually salutes watchmaking creativity, skill and expertise. For this year, 11 excellent watchmakers were given the recognition for their outstanding performances as witnessed by over 1500 watchmaking aficionados.

The ceremony started in a festive atmosphere as the venue was filled with feathers, champagnes, and kabuki, a Japanese dance – drama, that liven up the evening. Winners of this…

If you’re familiar with the VHS tapes which were popular prior to the CDs and the DVDs, then you would easily recognize them when you look at this watch. The MB&F Horological Machine 2 watch actually sports a case and a face that looks like VHS tapes, with the two round holes used to rotate the tape.

A soft-touch and PVD coated titanium case that is fingerprint resistant houses the MB&F Horological Machine 2 watch. The watch sports dual dials that indicate retrograde date, moon phase and an instantaneous jumping hour.

Black Horological Machine No. 1 by MB&F

MB&F has already presented us with three of their Horological Machine collection comprised of Number 1, Number 2, and Number 3. Today, they are once again presenting us with their Horological Machine No. 1 but now with its black edition.

Functionality wise, this new edition has the same functions compared to the previous. Both of them include an hour counter found on the left dial while the minutes counter lies on the right dial. Both of these are highlighted in silver and are also accented with black skeleton numbers and blue hands.

Sophistication on MB&F Horological Machine No.2 Watches Mens

Just recently, we have featured you the Horological Machine No.1 and 3 and to complete the trio, we are presenting you this MB&F Horological Machine No.2 which features the same complications and unique design.

Just like the No.1 and No.3, this Horological Machine No.2 includes a luxurious appeal brought by its 18 carat gold case.
