Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2010

November 18, 2010, State of Geneva – The Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix (GPHG) celebrated its 10th anniversary in giving honor to watchmakers who lived by their creativity, dynamism and skills within the watch industry.

The Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix or Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève started back in year 2001 and since then, it annually salutes watchmaking creativity, skill and expertise. For this year, 11 excellent watchmakers were given the recognition for their outstanding performances as witnessed by over 1500 watchmaking aficionados.

The ceremony started in a festive atmosphere as the venue was filled with feathers, champagnes, and kabuki, a Japanese dance – drama, that liven up the evening. Winners of this…

Quadruple Tourbillon Luxury Watch from Greubel and Forsey

Here comes the second masterpiece from Greubel and Forsey which they are presenting as the Quadruple Tourbillon. This Quadruple Tourbillon by Greubel Forsey displays a very complicated design of the movement that they are displaying with elegance.

This timepiece by Greubel Forsey called as the Quadruple Tourbillon is made by using a polished red gold material that composes the case. This also includes a hand sewn black alligator leather strap which makes it more elegant. Double Tourbillon Watch in Greubel Forsey Invention Piece 1

Greubel and Forsey are two separate individuals with one same dream of creating a watch with Double Tourbillon 30°. They have reached that dream and created a watch which they called the Invention Piece 1. This watch represents their success after four years of hard work in trying to build such a watch.
