Audimars Piguet presents a new limited edition that race enthusiasts will surely love. To celebrate the first ever F1 race in Singapore, they created the Royal Oak Offshore Singapore Grand Prix Chronograph. This watch is a witness to the relationship of automotive and watches industries. This relationship shows how both industries pay attention to details such as design and mechanical perfection.
This watch is made using the colors black and red which shows a sporty color code. It has a black forged carbon case enhanced by chronograph push pieces and a crown made of red molded rubber. The red dial has a black flange with tachometric scale and decorated with Mege Tapisserie motif. It has 3 subdials for small seconds, 30 minute counter, and 12 hour counter. This watch also has a perforated leather strap with red double stitching. The case back is engraved with the inscription Oak Offshore – Limited Edition – Singapore GP 2008. An engraved series number out of 250 is also seen at the case back. This Royal Oak Offshore is equipped with a self winding caliber 3126/3840 and has a power reserve of 60 hours.
This watch is indeed comparable to a race car. But with only 250 pieces, you’re lucky if you’re able to get one.
